Loganville isn't exactly a coastal town, so finding decent seafood here used to mean a drive to the city. That’s no longer the case, and this list covers everything from serious crab cakes at Baltimore Crab Kings to a butcher shop with shrimp bags that put the grocery store to shame.

I even found gator bites at a market that also fries mussels perfectly, and somehow a Thai place does the best sushi in the area. You can eat in a heated bubble or just grab a boiled bag to go.

Here’s where you should be spending your money.

Outstanding food, personal service
Fun heated bubble dining
Great drink options, huge shrimp

A Bite To Eat doesn't waste time on decor, and that's fine by me. The food is the star here, and it arrives with a confidence that says 'we know what we're doing.' The shrimp are genuinely huge, not the sad, shriveled things you get elsewhere. Service is personal, meaning they actually remember you if you come back more than once. They also have this heated bubble dining setup outside, which sounds gimmicky but is surprisingly pleasant on a chilly evening. Drinks are well-poured and creative. It's not fancy, but it's honest. I left full, satisfied, and already planning my next visit. That's about all I ask for.

Reliable spot for repeat visits

Seaside Coastal Kitchen Bethlehem is the reliable workhorse of Loganville seafood. You won't find wild experiments here, just properly cooked fish and shellfish. The staff is attentive without hovering, which is a rare balance. The dining room is spacious, so you're not elbowing your neighbor while trying to enjoy your meal. I've been here several times now, and the consistency is impressive. The crab cakes are solid, the fries are hot, and the coleslaw has the right amount of tang. It's the kind of place you go when you want a good meal and zero surprises. That's a compliment, by the way. They've earned my repeat business.

Attentive, friendly service staff
Quiet spot for relaxing meals
Fair prices for quality fare

Jersey Peach Bar & Grill delivers on the 'fresh and flavorful' promise without trying too hard. The seafood tastes like it was swimming recently, which is always a plus. The atmosphere is warm, and by warm, I mean it doesn't feel like a sterile hospital cafeteria. The staff is friendly and actually seems to enjoy their jobs. It's a quiet spot, perfect for a relaxed dinner where you can actually hear your companion. Prices are fair for the portion sizes you get. You're not getting ripped off, and you're not getting a tiny piece of fish on a giant plate. It's a solid, dependable choice. I'd recommend the grilled catch of the day.

Worth the drive
Generous fresh portions
Crab cakes and egg rolls
Friendly owner-operators
Arrive early for seating

Baltimore Crab Kings is worth the drive, and I don't say that lightly. The crab cakes are the real deal, mostly lump meat with just enough binder to hold them together. The portions are generous, so come hungry. They also have these crab and cream cheese egg rolls, which sound odd but work surprisingly well. The owners are usually on site, and they're genuinely friendly. They'll talk to you about the crab season and their sourcing, which I appreciate. The only complaint is seating. It's a small place, and it fills up fast. Arrive early or be prepared to wait. It's worth the wait, but still, plan ahead.

Highlights
Huge bags of shrimp
Surgeon-like meat cutting
Reasonable prices at value
Top-notch ribeye marbling
Premium spices and sauces

Corner's Edge Butcher Shoppe is primarily a meat market, but they carry huge bags of shrimp that are better than anything I've found at the chain grocery stores. The shrimp are clean, properly deveined, and the right size for grilling or boiling. The butcher behind the counter knows his stuff, and he can cut a ribeye with surgical precision. The prices are fair, especially for the quality. They also stock a nice selection of spices and sauces, which is handy if you're like me and forget to buy seasoning until you're already home. This isn't a restaurant, but if you're cooking seafood at home, this is where you should shop. Trust me.

Highlights
Warm welcome near closing time
Server Alexis provided excellent service
Baked Pamendis with tender meatballs
Carbonara with perfectly balanced sauce
Fresh, generous salads and desserts

Pamendis Italian Grill might sound like a contradiction, but they do a serviceable seafood linguine. The real highlight, though, is the hospitality. I arrived near closing time, and they didn't rush me or roll their eyes. Server Alexis was a standout, attentive and genuinely warm. The baked dish with tender meatballs is excellent, and the carbonara has a perfectly balanced sauce, not too heavy, not too thin. Salads are fresh and generous, and the desserts are house-made and worth saving room for. It's a classic Italian spot with a seafood twist. If you want a predictable, comfortable meal with great service, this is a safe bet.

Fresh, tasty food served
Quick, friendly service
New spot improving daily

PITA Mediterranean Street Food in Loganville is a new spot, and they're clearly still refining things. But what they have going for them is freshness. The grilled fish wrap is tasty, and the salads are crisp. Service is quick and friendly, which is impressive for a place finding its footing. They're improving daily, which is all I can ask for. It's not a full seafood experience, but if you want a light, healthy option that doesn't taste like cardboard, this is worth a shot. The hummus is good, too. Keep an eye on this place. It's going to be great once they smooth out the edges.

Fresh, meaty Dungeness crab
Crispy, juicy lemon pepper wings
Homemade-style fried shrimp batter
Clean, family-friendly atmosphere
Attentive, helpful staff

Red Crab House in Snellville is a family-friendly spot that delivers on the basics. The Dungeness crab is meaty and sweet, which is the whole point. The lemon pepper wings are crispy, juicy, and have just the right amount of zing. The fried shrimp uses a homemade-style batter that actually clings to the shrimp instead of falling off. The place is clean, which is more than I can say for some crab shacks. The staff is attentive, and they don't make you feel like a bother when you ask for extra napkins. It's not a gourmet experience, but it's a solid, satisfying meal. I'd go back.

Best Thai in years
Fresh, flavorful dishes
Great for date nights

Thai Delight Kitchen Sushi & Bar is a bit of a name soup, but they do a decent job with seafood. The pad thai with shrimp is fresh and flavorful, and the sushi is surprisingly good for a place that also does Thai curries. It's a great date night spot, low lights, not too loud, and the service is polite. The fish tastes fresh, which is the baseline requirement. I wouldn't say it's the best sushi I've ever had, but it's certainly the best in this area. If you're in the mood for something other than fried fish, this is a nice change of pace. The green curry is also worth trying.

Garlic rolls worth the visit
Old family Italian atmosphere
Attentive server Louis praised
Entrees impress, desserts shine

Provino's Italian Restaurant is a classic, and the garlic rolls alone are worth the visit. They're warm, buttery, and slightly sweet. The seafood options, like the shrimp scampi, are cooked properly, not rubbery. It has that old-school Italian atmosphere, dark wood, red checkered tablecloths, the works. Server Louis was attentive without being intrusive, and he had good recommendations. The entrees impress, and the desserts genuinely shine. It's the kind of place where you linger over coffee and tiramisu. It's not experimental, but it doesn't need to be. Sometimes you just want a reliable Italian meal, and Provino's delivers.

Fresh mussels and shrimp
Gator bites are tasty
Cooked perfectly every time
Worth the drive alone
Service was outstanding

Prime Seafood Market is technically a market, but they'll cook for you, and that's where the magic happens. The mussels are plump and fresh, and the shrimp are cooked with a precision that suggests someone actually cares. They also do gator bites, which are tastier than they sound. The service was outstanding, quick, and knowledgeable. Yes, it's a bit of a drive, but the quality justifies the gas. This is not a sit-down fancy place; it's a grab-a-seat, eat-your-weight-in-seafood kind of joint. I appreciate that. If you want a straightforward, excellent seafood experience without the frills, this is your spot.

Best vegan cupcakes in town
Baked fresh with short notice
Delivered exactly on time
Chocolate explosion cake winner

Decadent Creations is not a seafood restaurant, so you might wonder why it's on this list. The answer is simple: their chocolate cake. After a heavy seafood meal, you need something to cut through the salt. These cupcakes are the best in town, and I say that without hesitation. They can bake a batch on short notice, which is a lifesaver for last-minute parties. Delivery was exactly on time, which is rarer than you'd think. The chocolate explosion cake is exactly that, an explosion of rich, dark cocoa. It's not a subtle dessert. It doesn't need to be. I'll forgive the lack of fish because they've mastered the art of the perfect ending.
